Zomato Delivery Boy On A Harley Goes Viral [Video]

Online food ordering apps like Swiggy and Zomato have become integral parts of our lives, and most of us use them on a daily basis. The partners who deliver the food often use commuter segment bikes and scooters because they are easy to maintain and fuel-efficient. However, there are exceptions to this rule. Here we have a video where a Zomato delivery partner is seen riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle.

The video was shared by Akshay Shettigar on his Instagram page and was probably recorded somewhere in Karnataka or Bengaluru. In the video, we see a person sitting on a Harley Davidson motorcycle with a Zomato-branded food delivery box on the pillion seat.

The rider is waiting at a traffic signal, with the person recording the video also stuck at the same signal. Within seconds of the video being recorded, the signal turns green, and the rider continues his ride. He is very careful with the bike and is wearing proper riding gear.

In the past, we have seen many videos where people use expensive bikes for prank videos and do not wear helmets to make themselves more visible in the video. In this case, the rider was probably not interested in publicity and was simply doing his job. The video was probably recorded from a bus, which took a right turn while the biker continued ahead.

The bike seen in the video is the most affordable Harley Davidson bike ever made, launched in the market last year. The all-new Harley Davidson X440 is the result of a collaboration between Hero MotoCorp and Harley Davidson. Unlike the previous Street 750 and Street Rod models, which were manufactured at the now-defunct facility in Bawal, Haryana, the new X440 is manufactured at Hero’s production facility.

As we already know, Harley Davidson had left the Indian market due to low sales and demand, with one of the main reasons being the lack of affordable models. All variants of the Harley-Davidson X440 are equipped with rounded LED headlamps with daytime running LEDs, rounded rectangular LED tail lamps, a USB charging port, and a full-TFT instrument console. The motorcycle is powered by an air/oil-cooled, single-cylinder, 440cc engine developed in-house by Hero MotoCorp, producing a maximum power output of 27 bhp @ 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque output of 38 Nm @ 4,000 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed transmission.

The motorcycle comes with 43 mm USD forks at the front and twin hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. The bike comes with dual-channel ABS with a 320 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear.

Under this video, we came across several interesting comments. One user wrote, “Someone is done with asking money from home. Respect.” Another user wrote, “Deepinder Goyal self-delivering after riders went on strike.” One of them even wrote that this was probably a publicity stunt and the person riding the bike is not an actual delivery partner.

This is not the first time we have seen a video like this on the internet. We have seen people deliver food on expensive bikes like the Suzuki Hayabusa. There was even a video that went viral in which a girl who claimed to be a delivery partner with Zomato posted a video of herself riding a Yamaha R15 without a helmet.
