Report: Philadelphia 76ers make multiple changes to coaching staff

The Philadelphia 76ers are coming off a 2024-25 season that was a complete disaster. As they head into the offseason after a 24-58 record, there were some changes that had to be made as they look to bounce back from the season.

The Sixers looked at their coaching staff and reportedly have made some changes. Per Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Sixers will let assistant coach Coby Karl and player development coach Terrel Harris go. Karl coached the team’s G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats, to the G League title in 2023 and he played in the NBA. Harris also played in the league.

Philadelphia will also move on from Michelle Bell, who was their director of coaching operations, as well as senior physical therapist and assistant athletic trainer John Tooher, a valued security guard, and two members of their basketball communications department.

The Sixers will have the No. 3 pick in the 2025 draft as they look to move forward in the offseason and get back on track.
