Profile Products is making strategic moves within its Profile Growing Solutions (PGS) business to better serve customers and align with the growth of the company. As part of this initiative, the company has promoted three of its leaders and welcomed three new hires, further enhancing its team to drive continued success.
Wes Martin has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Profile Growing Solutions, where he will oversee the strategic direction and ongoing expansion of the business. Brian Patterson has taken on a new role as Vice President of North America sales, where he will be responsible for sales across the PGS portfolio. Patterson and his team will focus on strengthening customer relationships and driving sales growth across the region. Nathan Carney has been promoted to Sales Manager for Blenders and Mushroom Growers. In this role, Carney will manage key accounts and ensure customer needs are met as the PGS business continues to grow in this sector.
“These promotions are part of our ongoing strategy to strengthen our leadership team and enhance our ability to serve our customers effectively,” says Shane Porzio, President and CEO of Profile Products. “As Profile Growing Solutions continues to grow, it’s essential we have the right people in place to lead us forward. With this team, we are well-positioned to meet the evolving needs of our customers and drive continued success for Profile Products.”
Profile Products has also expanded its team with the addition of three new hires. Jon Sperry will serve as Senior Director of Marketing and Business Development, and Shane Hutto and Cade Boyd will join the team as Equipment and Substrate Technicians.
In his role, Sperry will lead the marketing, product management, and strategic marketing teams for Profile Growing Solutions. Sperry previously held positions as the Vice President of Vantage Food and Director of Global Marketing and Product Management at Lanxess.
“Jon’s extensive experience in marketing and product management, coupled with his strategic vision, will play a crucial role in growing our horticulture business,” says Martin. “Jon’s leadership will be key as we continue to strengthen our market position and deliver exceptional value to our customers.”
As Equipment and Substrate Technicians, Hutto and Boyd will work directly in the field to support Profile’s grower and blender initiatives. Hutto holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in horticulture with a minor in soil science from Oklahoma State University. Before joining Profile, Hutto held various horticulture roles focused on cultivation and automation, as well as technical positions with companies like Cresco and Grodan.
“Shane’s deep knowledge of horticulture and his hands-on experience with cultivation technologies make him an exceptional addition to our team,” says Carney. “His ability to bridge the gap between technical expertise and practical application will greatly enhance our support to growers and blenders.”
Boyd holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a minor in horticulture from Texas A&M University. Prior to joining Profile, Boyd worked as a grower at Metrolina Greenhouses and Lennon Farms. Most recently he served as a Product Manager for Adept Ag/AgriNomix, where he was highly involved with HydraFiber processing equipment.
“Adding Cade to our team is a strategic move as we align our resources with the growth of our business,” says Carney. “His background in both engineering and horticulture makes him a perfect fit for our team.”
