Packers will travel 7th fewest miles to road games during 2025 season

Despite having nine road games on the schedule, the lack of an international game and zero trips to far off locales like California and Florida will provide a relatively easy season of travel for the Green Bay Packers in 2025. According to Bill Speros of Bookies.com (via Adam Schefter of ESPN), the Packers will travel just under 13,000 miles to away games this season, ranking as the seventh-fewest total miles of expected travel among the 32 NFL teams.

The Chicago Bears (12,522, fifth fewest) and Detroit Lions (11,411, fourth) also rank in the top seven for fewest miles traveled among teams in 2025.

The Packers (and Bears and Lions) are centrally located in the United States and will face the AFC North and NFC East in 2025, helping limit travel.

Among the longest road trips for the Packers are road games against the Arizona Cardinals and Denver Broncos in the Mountain Time Zone. Green Bay has no games on the road against teams in the Pacific Time Zone. The Packers also go to New York to play the Giants, to Pittsburgh to play the Steelers and to Dallas to play the Cowboys, but Matt LaFleur’s team doesn’t have a trip over 1,500 miles in the air.

The Packers have 12,929 miles of expected travel. The Los Angeles Chargers, meanwhile, will travel over 37,000 total miles — or three times the expected amount for the Packers. The Minnesota Vikings have two international trips — to Ireland and London — and will travel almost 20,000 total miles.

The full schedule for the Packers will be announced by Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m.
