Schröder has averaged 18.4 points and 6.6 assists per game this season, his first full one with the Nets. They traded for him midway through last season with the Raptors. The Warriors will now mark Schröder’s eighth team in his 12 seasons in the league.
The Nets hold just a 10-15 record and have lost five of their last six heading into Monday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Nets officially hired Jordi Fernandez as their head coach in April after missing the playoffs for the first time in six years last season. The team has won just a singe playoff series in that span.
