We’ve seen videos of motorhomes and caravans from different parts of India and abroad. We have seen a variety of videos where people have transformed their cars into homes on wheels. For a change, we now have a video here where a bunch of guys from Surat have actually made a hut with wheels. The video has been circulating on various social media platforms and has already gone viral.
The video has been shared by the Creative Science YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger and his friend get inspired by a scene from the Bollywood movie “Taarzan the Wonder Car” and decide to convert their jeep into a hut. In the movie, there was a scene where the Taarzan car was actually seen moving around with a hut on top.
The vlogger took inspiration from that and decided to modify their previous project, a miniature electric jeep, for the same. They used the mini electric jeep as a base and designed a frame around it. The frame was made from metal channel pipes. They created a box around the jeep with vertical pillars. The pillars then acted as the base for the roof of the hut.
They did a lot of fabrication work and finally ended up with a frame that looked like a hut. Once they were done with the frame, they started working on the windows so that they could look out of the car while driving it. Once the frame and windows were ready, the vlogger used metal wires to create a mesh that would support the thatched roof. They even covered the whole thing using jute bags.
They used straws and dried palm leaves to create the roof and sides of the hut. They held it together using bamboo sticks. Once this was done, the roof and the side walls were placed and secured in place. The entrance to the jeep was from the rear. The rear wall of the hut can be lifted to enter and exit the jeep without making many changes.
Once this was done, they installed tinted fiberglass windows on the hut so that people do not see the driver behind the wheel. Once everything was installed, they took the hut on wheels to the road.
People were definitely intrigued by this hut on wheels. Some of them even recorded videos and images for social media. The project looks well executed and looks different too. It did do the job and attract a lot eyes on the road.
This is not the first time they have come up with a creation like this. In the past, they have created a homemade single-wheeled, self-balancing KTM bike, a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle with custom-made hubless rims, and even converted a petrol Honda Activa scooter into an electric scooter.
Talking about weird creations, they have built a Harry Potter-style flying broom using the frame of an electric scooter. Most of the projects that these guys build are done after doing proper research. They even create a dummy design of the project before working on the actual project.
