The number of young entrepreneurs opting for expensive and exotic cars in India has gone up. Recently, Ms. Nima Sulaiman, who took charge as the director of HiLite Group, was surprised with an unexpected gift by her father. Her father, P. Sulaiman, who is the founder of the HiLite Group, had gifted a brand new Porsche 911 Carrera S sports car to his daughter. A video of him surprising his daughter has already gone viral on the internet.

The video has been shared by Porsche Center Kochi on their Instagram page. The car was actually delivered to the customer at home. We have seen many celebrities and influential personalities opt for home delivery facilities. The video was posted with a caption, “Unveiling Ms. Nima Sulaiman’s stunning 911 Carrera S in Shark Blue. Watch the exhilarating moment of delivery as Ms. Nima takes the keys to her dream ride. Buckle up and get ready for a thrilling ride ahead!”
The car was brought to the location in a closed container. It was then brought down and covered while the dealership staff worked on making arrangements for the handover. The car looks brilliant in this shade of blue. We see Mr. P. Sulaiman greeting the dealership staff, and later his daughter is also seen in the video.
Everyone looks excited about this new car. Friends and family had gathered around, and the car was finally unveiled. The video then shows the manager handing over the keys to Nima along with a welcome hamper. Nima then gets into the car and checks out the interior. She then starts the car and drives away.
While we have seen several videos of parents gifting cars to their children and vice versa, this is probably the most expensive gift someone has received, a Rs. 2 crore sports car as a welcome gift for joining a new firm or for a new position.
The Porsche 911 Carrera S seen here is the current 992 generation sports car. The Porsche Carrera S comes with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo petrol engine placed at the rear. The engine generates a maximum of 450 Bhp and 530 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. All the power is sent to the rear wheels.
It is a fast car and can do 0-100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds. The car gifted to Nima has an all-black interior. This 2-door sports car can seat 4 people. The large oval headlamps and the overall design remain unmistakably Porsche. The car comes with 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch at the rear as standard. It gets a wide touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster with an analog tachometer, electric door handles, and many other features. The price for a brand new Porsche Carrera S in India is Rs. 2.01 crore, ex-showroom.
Other than Nima, Malayalam actress Mamta Mohandas also owns a Porsche Carrera S. She was, in fact, the first woman actress from Malayalam to own a sports car.
