Estée Lauder Companies Announces Leadership Changes

Six weeks after announcing the retirement of CEO Fabrizio Freda, Estée Lauder Companies revealed another executive leadership transition today.

The company’s North America group president Mark Loomis will be retiring at the end of the company’s 2025 fiscal year in June, the same timeline set for Freda’s departure.

While Freda’s successor has not yet been named, ELC announced that Loomis’ role will be filled by two executives beginning on Jan. 1. Its current global president of California brands Tara Simon will move into the role of North America president. Amber English, the company’s current senior vice president for e-commerce and digital, will become North America president for digital and online.

Simon and English each have experience guiding ELC’s portfolio brands through new retail and e-commerce channels. Prior to ELC, Simon held roles at Sephora and then Ulta Beauty, arranging exclusive launches for MAC Cosmetics and Clinique. English, meanwhile, has overseen ELC brands’ expansion into Amazon’s premium beauty channel after leaving Amazon for the beauty giant in 2022.
