Margot Robbie has scooped up one of beautyâs most iconic roles: sheâs the new face of Chanel No.5.
The fashion house announced her appointment today, and the full campaign will be revealed in October. She has been an ambassador for the house since 2018, and has previously starred in beauty campaigns for products such as the Nuit Blanche lipstick line.
Originally launched in 1921, the scent is one of the worldâs most enduring fragrances, with offshoot products such as a lighter, fresher version called No.5 LâEau.
Robbie takes over from the French actress Marion Cotillard, who had been the perfumeâs ambassador since 2020. Previous ambassadors also include fellow Australian actress Nicole Kidman, and Marilyn Monroe.
In a statement, Robbie described it as âone of the most iconic fragrances in the world,â and said she was honoured to join the âimpressive lineage of womenâ who have been associated with it.
