Hemant Kumar Limbachiya, known as Haarsh Limbachiyaa, is the latest Indian celebrity to buy a Mercedes-Benz GLS luxury SUV. The Indian screenwriter and television host recently shared an image of himself taking delivery of his new car on social media platforms. Mercedes-Benz recently updated its flagship SUV GLS globally, and Indian celebs have already started picking up this new SUV. Haarsh Limbachiyaa also picked up the 2024 facelift of the GLS luxury SUV.

The images seen here have been shared by Auto Hangar, which is an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership in Mumbai. The television celebrity has bought the SUV in Polar White shade. The post doesn’t share whether Haarsh opted for the petrol or diesel version of the SUV. We also don’t see any kind of videos related to the delivery.
The 2024 version of the Mercedes-Benz GLS has a few cosmetic changes compared to the older version. One major difference with the older version is the grille. The redesigned grille comes with four horizontal slats with the Mercedes logo in the center.
Other than the redesigned front grille, the GLS gets a new LED DRL signature, a new block pattern in the tail lamps, and a redesigned front bumper. We also see gloss black inserts in the front bumper. The SUV rides on 21-inch alloy wheels.
Mercedes-Benz GLS is one of the biggest SUVs on sale in the Indian market. The SUV is 5.2 meters long and 1.96 meters wide. The 2024 version now comes with a choice of three faux leather interior upholstery choices. The customer can choose from black, beige, and brown. The steering wheel in the GLS facelift is new, and it comes with haptic feedback buttons.
The MBUX system, which is offered in all Mercedes-Benz models, can be seen here as well. The car offers features like a 360-degree camera, adjustable air suspension, ADAS features for a safer drive, and many more features.
This huge 7-seater SUV offers a spacious cabin and premium features like heated and cooled seats, wireless phone charging, and much more. Mercedes is also offering a Rear Seat Comfort package where the customer can opt for features such as controls to adjust the front seat to increase space, electric sun blinds, two 11.6-inch entertainment screens, and an additional tablet to control features in the car. We are not sure whether Haarsh has opted for this package.
As mentioned above, Mercedes-Benz offers both petrol and diesel engine options with the new GLS. The petrol version is the GLS 450, which uses a 3.0-liter, 6-cylinder engine that generates 381 PS and 500 Nm of peak torque. The diesel version is the GLS 450d, which also uses a 3.0-liter, 6-cylinder engine. This engine generates 367 PS and 700 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission as standard.
Both these versions come with a mild hybrid system that offers a 20 PS boost and 200 Nm of additional torque on demand. The price for a brand new 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS starts at Rs 1.32 crore, ex-showroom, and goes up to Rs 1.37 crore, ex-showroom. Mercedes also offers a Maybach version of the GLS, which many Bollywood celebs own. It is priced at around Rs 3 crore. Recently, Bollywood actress and politician Kirron Kher also bought the GLS facelift.
