29 Year-Old Forex Trader’s Multi-Crore Rolls Royce Gets Stuck In Dubai Flood [Video]

Middle Eastern countries like the UAE and Oman witnessed one of the biggest natural disasters last week. Dubai and its nearby regions experienced heavy rainfall, resulting in flooding. Several theories emerged regarding the cause of the rain and floods. Many claimed it was the result of cloud seeding; however, experts have refuted this theory. Last week, several videos from Dubai surfaced, showing people stranded in their expensive cars and SUVs in the middle of the road. Here, we have a video of a 29-year-old forex trader sitting on the bonnet of his multi-crore Rolls Royce sedan during Dubai flood.

The video was shared by Ronak Kotecha Dubai on their Instagram page. In the video, we see Mr. Pips, who is a Forex trader sitting on the bonnet of a red Rolls Royce luxury sedan, surrounded by water. The car and the owner were likely stranded during the flood, and he was probably waiting for a recovery van or truck to pick up the car.

We see him enjoying the view with a banana and a can of Red Bull in his hand. The car seen in the video is a Rolls Royce Ghost, the current generation. It appears the car was parked in a parking lot when this happened, as the water is just below the bumper and doesn’t appear too deep.

However, it seems the owner was not willing to take any risk with his expensive car and decided to wait for backup. While the water may not be deep at this particular section, the same cannot be said for other places. There are videos from Dubai showing SUVs like the Toyota Land Cruiser and Nissan Patrol completely submerged in floodwaters.

The comment section under this video is always filled with interesting comments. One user wrote, “Insurance companies will be having multiple panic attacks.” Some other users wrote, “Put that Red Bull in the fuel compartment; it will give the RR wings,” “He managed to get a snack at least,” and so on.

The Rolls Royce Ghost seen in the video is the current generation model and uses an aluminum spaceframe, similar to the all-new Phantom. Rolls Royce offers an extremely premium cabin, like other models from the British brand.

The car is powered by a 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine that generates 571 PS and 850 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels.

Many modern cities face the issue of flooding due to poor drainage systems. If you ever find yourself stuck in such a situation, there are a few things you should do. Never drive your vehicle or bike through floodwaters, as it becomes extremely hard to judge the depth. If your car or bike gets stalled on a flooded road, do not attempt to start the vehicle before checking the water level.

If the water level is too high, leave the car, as starting it would only damage the vehicle’s engine even more. Most importantly, only leave your house when it is absolutely unavoidable. To know more about the things you should never do while driving on a flooded road, click here.
