India’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki, is gearing up to launch the new Swift. The company will be officially taking the covers off on the 9th of May. However, the company has already launched this model in various international markets. This includes the French car market as well, and recently Suzuki France has shared a new TVC for this hatchback.
Maruti Suzuki Swift TVC
The television commercial of the new Maruti Suzuki Swift fourth generation starts with a lady sending a text to her friend. Following this, her friend is seen receiving the text inside the car. She checks out her message on the 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system of the hatchback. After this, she arrives in front of her friend.
It then shows her friend going into imagination where a number of dynamic shots of the new Swift were shown. Both friends were then seen enjoying their drive of the new Swift in the city and scenic roads of France. This particular car in the TVC was finished in the lovely shade of Frontier Blue with a contrasting Black roof.
Speaking of the colors, the new Swift will be offered in a lot of different colors. The list of these colors includes Caravan Ivory Pearl Metallic, Pure White Pearl, Premium Silver Metallic, Star Silver Metallic, and Super Black Pearl.
Other color options of the upcoming Swift include Burning Red Pearl Metallic, Flame Orange Pearl Metallic, Cool Yellow Metallic, and the above-shown Frontier Blue Metallic. There will be a few colors that will also get a black roof as part of a dual-tone scheme.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift Safety
The upcoming Swift is being hotly anticipated, and it is expected to surpass the success of the current model. Recently, another piece of good news was shared about this hatchback. It has been reported that the Swift in the Japan NCAP crash test scored a 4-star rating. It scored 117.80 out of 197 points.
This time around, the Swift in the international markets has been given a number of active safety features. These include automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and rear collision alert. However, reports have stated ADAS might not be making its way to India in Swift.
2024 Swift unofficial bookings open
Just a few days ago, it was reported that some dealerships across India have commenced unofficial bookings for the upcoming model. As per the reports, these dealerships are taking Rs 11,000 as a booking amount.
It has to be noted that Maruti Suzuki has NOT officially announced the commencement of bookings. The company has also not revealed any details about its variants as well. Reportedly, however, it will be offered in LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+ trims in the country.
The new 2024 Swift will come powered by a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine. This new engine could make around 82 bhp and 112 Nm of torque. It might also get the 12V mild hybrid system in India as well.
Transmission options are likely to be a five-speed manual and an AMT gearbox. Internationally, it is offered with a CVT transmission option, but we won’t be getting that.
