Hyundai launched the sportier version of Creta named Creta N Line on March 11. This performance-focused version of the SUV comes in two variants, namely N8 and N10. The N8 variant mirrors the features of the regular 2024 Creta SX variant, while the N10 mirrors the features of SX(O). Today, via a YouTube video uploaded by Auto Girl Ravneet, we will discuss both of these variants in detail.
The video starts with the host introducing the Creta N Line. She mentions that the Hyundai Creta N Line is a perfect package that offers comfort, luxury, and sportiness. The video shows the high-end N10 variant of the car finished in the signature thunder blue colour.
Creta N Line is powered by a different 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine, mated to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT. This engine produces 160 PS and 253 Nm of torque.
What does the N10 variant offer over the N8? There is a price difference of Rs. 2.52 lakhs. So what does paying Rs. 2.5 lakhs extra get you?
There are no differences on the exterior, and both variants are exactly the same, with features such as an all-LED lighting setup, connected DRLs and taillamps, 18-inch alloy wheels with red brake callipers, multiple red inserts, sporty rear spoiler, and shark fin antenna.
Interior—Both variants offer similar interior features, including an all-black theme with red accents, leatherette seat covers, steering wheel, gear shifter and door pads, front armrest, sunglass holder, and a 60:40 split rear seat. However, the N10 variant is more premium, with features such as red ambient lighting, an 8-way electrically adjustable driver seat, an auto-dimming IRVM, and a rear seat headrest cushion.
Both variants have a long list of comfort and convenience features. Some key features in both variants are a 2-step reclining back seat, rear window sunshade, multiple Type-C charging ports, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone auto AC, wireless phone charger, push-button start/stop, and many more. N10 offers extra features such as a voice-activated sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a 10.25-inch digital driver display (the N8 variant has a semi-digital instrument cluster).
Both variants offer multiple Drive (Eco, Normal, and Sport) and Traction Control modes (Snow, Mud, and Sand). While the N8 has an 8-inch touchscreen, the N10 variant offers a much bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen. This touchscreen sends output through an 8-speaker Bose sound system (6 regular speakers in the N8). Additionally, the N10 variant comes with connected car tech and Alexa connectivity.
Safety Features—Standard safety features include six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), vehicle stability management, hill start assist, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), all-4 disc brakes, a dashcam with dual cameras, and a rear parking camera with sensors. Additionally, the N10 variant offers a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, and multiple ADAS features.
Creta N Line variant-wise pricing
The N8 variant with manual transmission costs Rs. 16.82 lakhs, while the 7-speed DCT costs Rs. 18.32 lakhs. The higher-end N10 variant starts at Rs. 19.34 lakhs for the MT, and the 7-speed DCT is priced at Rs. 20.29 lakhs. Please note that all the prices mentioned are ex-showroom. The Hyundai Creta N Line competes with similar cars in the same segment, including the Seltos X-Line, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
